1. Log in to OKX Log in to your OKX account or create a new one

2. Go to the API settings In the right-upper corner, in your account settings menu, click API page

3. Create a new API key On the API page click “Create V5 API key” button

4. Set your new API Give a name to your new API connection in the API name field. Type in your passphrase in the passphrase field (it will be used when you connect access point on TradeSanta).

  Leave IP address (optional) blank, and set the following.

Permissions: Read - on Withdraw - off Trade - on

Click “Confirm” after you set everything.

1. Save your new API credentials and rock Next pop-up window will show your new API and secret keys, copy them somewhere safe and now you are ready to rock by clicking “Confirm”.

The process of API ket creation on OKX

IMPORTANT: It is crucial that you store your Secret Key securely as it will only be displayed once during the API key creation process and will be hidden thereafter. Please note that you should never share your access details with anyone. In the unfortunate event that you forget your Secret Key, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to assist you with the resetting process. Your only solution would be to delete the API and create a new one.
