- Log in to HTX Log in to your HTX account or create a new one
- Go to the API settings page
In the right-upper corner, click the circle button of your account settings menu, and choose API Management page
- Create a new API key
Give a name to your new API key in the Notes fieldPermissions: Read-only - on Withdraw - off Trade - on Bind IP address or IP segment - leave blank After setting the required permissions, click “Create” button
Save your new API key
Next pop-up window will show your new API and secret keys, copy them somewhere safe and now you are ready to rock by clicking “Confirm”.
IMPORTANT: It is crucial that you store your Secret Key securely as it will only be displayed once during the API key creation process and will be hidden thereafter.
Please note that you should never share your access details with anyone. In the unfortunate event that you forget your Secret Key, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to assist you with the resetting process.
Your only solution would be to delete the API and create a new one.
